Site and mail hosted on different server

Hi, can someone tell me if the WB  form will still work if the site is hosted on one server and the mailserver is on another server? Hope you understand my question. Thanks.

Hello,

for WB get working there is no mailserver needed. Using SMTP should make you able to use every mailsever you want, no matter where he is. Only issue could possible be, if your mailserver does not accept mails wich come from a different domain.

What do you mean by if the mailserver can accept mails from a different domain? The A record host the WB website but the mailsever MX record is hosted by different server. They are both using the same domain. Am I unerstand correctly that it will work? Is that right?
