Picturebox image gallery is a modification of the WebsiteBaker "Lightbox" module.

Download:
http://kims-area.com/wb/media/picturebox-1.4.zip

Demo: http://kims-area.com/wb/

It does not provide a slideshow function (it does not autoplay, but there are still hoverlinks to the previous/next image)

--
I tested it with Opera 9.52, Firefox 3.0.3 and Safari 3.1.2.
It currently does not work under Internet Explorer 6 and below.

Any suggestions?  smiley

Didn't test it yet, but on your demo page it looks very beautiful and promising.
However, I think it should really work with IE 6 as well, since lots of people still use it (some 25% of IE users, I think).
Can you fix that?

Vincent

Very nice and works great with FF3.

Cool feature is the sliding foto when it centers.

Thank You.

I updated the picturebox imagegallery.

Here's the changelog:

Quote

4. November 2008

- Changed popup shadows
   - Replaced table tags with faster and less div tags
   - Popupshadow now uses only the shadow.png in the images folder (easier to replace than 8 small png's)
- Added fade when image changes
- Added fade when image-popup closes

* Fade does not work in IE7
* Image-popup shadow does not work in IE<6 due to missing alphatransparency png support (displays image-popup without shadow)

The picturebox now works in:

- Firefox
- Safari/Chrome
- Opera

and with some limitations in

- Internet Explorer 6 and 7

I attached the .zip file to the original post and also to the onlinedemo.

Hi Kimmik,

neat thing! Very nice. Actually reminds me of fancybox - do you know it?

What I miss in your module (didn't test it myself, just looked at your demo) is the loading image. Somehow I think that users who are less websavvy than us might think that nothing happens, if a picture needs a little longer. And that might make them close the window.

Cheers,

It works in FF, but not in IE7 and IE6

Hi Bramus,

it's a pleasure for me, If I can help!

IE7:
I can see the pics with dropshadow. But there seem to be some problems with the left one (keuken.jpg). Sometimes it's shown, sometimes not. And sometimes I cannot close it.

IE6:
The Thumbs(!) have a gray background on wich dropshadow can be seen. I cannot open keuken.jpg, the two others are shown without dropshadow.

So you may call me "Hiob" from now on.  grin

Best regards from snowy Sauerland.

Uwe

Edit:
in Opera all three pics work fine.

For the Kimi's download page is down and he did not react to my email:

Is there anybody who has the latest release 1.4 of this module?

Please send it to AMASP using a contact form or post it here.
