Here is a property listing module we developed for listing properties. It's useful for property management companies, realtors, etc. We aren't available to make changes or corrections, so this is offered as-is to the community. It's been tested on 2.7 - not sure about other versions. YMMV.

Both modules you placed sound very interesting.

I will sure have a look at them.

Thanks,

Hi ismedia

tried this module and there are several error messages in the front- and in the backend.
For messages in the frontend look here and for errors in the backend see added image.

Hello Erpe,
I had the same issues.

The Basic Idea of the Module is not bad, but I miss some "Search possibilities" and also "Categories".

I know a script which could be used as a base for a good module.
http://real-estate-management-software.org/realestate-management-license.php

I used this one some years ago.
It was very "light" and customizeable.

I thought very often to port this to WB, but I have a well known coding lag  grin

Best Regards,
Stefek

Hi Stefek

regarding my code knowledge it is the same to me.
Perhaps someone wants to modify this module or create a wb-module from the link you posted.
Let us hope the best.

The listing module works without problems on my standard WB2.7 installation. See [04/08/09: URL removed, because module removed, because it caused huge error logs on server]
It's a simple and crude module, but it's usable if you have a use for it as it is. You cannot set settings in the backend, it's all hard coded...

There are many scripts like this, but this seems like a very nice one indeed.

Hello Jurgen,

how did you get this module running.
And what about your experiences?

Do you have any "Demo" Link for this module? The one placed above seems to be broken/down.

@Erpe: is this module listet at amasp? Do you know something about the progress on this?

Regards,
Stefek

Hi Stefek

as far as I see this module is not listed at AMASP because I could not get it work (see this link) and no one else could ( except Argos).
I had a look at Argos link as it was not broken and as far as I remember he got it work with the simple template.

And I don't know anything regarding the progress of this module.

Thank you Erpe.

Argos seems to have the magic finger  grin

I don't get it to work either.
Unfortunatly it is not a real WB module.

Would be nice to have one.

However, I will try the new Module Ruud created recently - I just need some properties listed.

Kind Regards,
Stefek

Well, I just installed it, and unlike others, I had no troubles with that smiley I guess my server config is accidentally just right for this module. I filled it with some bogus, and it works without a problem. It has lots of hardcoded stuff and is rather limited, and I also had some errors in my server logs referring to this module, so it's not high quality.

It's temporarily down, as I am having troubles on the server and I am trying to find out what is causing it. I suspect the Properties module to be the casue actually, but I'm not sure yet. My test site is temporarily down, but will be online soon, with or without the Properties module.

My test server is back online, but I removed the properties moduel, as it was kinda buggy after all, causing huge error logs and high traffic.
