Greetings!

I am running an install of WSB 2.6.4 and I have several pages that were built using the Tiny_FCK Editor including several pages which also have the Download Gallery. A few days ago I installed the TinyMCE 3.2.0.2 Module and now when I attempt to add a file to a page with a Download Gallery the WYSIWYG editor as well as the Save and Cancel buttons do not load which makes it impossible to add new files.

I have tried to change the settings to show the Tiny_FCK editor as the default but it did not help. I uninstalled the TinyMCE module also did not help.

Any suggestions would be appreciated? Perhaps someone else has come across this situation.

Thanks in advance ...

Hello,

Ii recommand to upgrade to WB 2.7. This should solve your problems.

Sorry to post again just hoping to get this issue resolved as I like some features (media embed) on the Tiny_MCE however despite upgrading to 2.7 when I installed the Tiny_MCE it once again crashed my download module.

I am able to view the Download Module in a page section and in fact I can edit existing files but when I attempt to add a file I only get the top few boxes and no editor or Save button. It doesn't matter which version of Download Gallery I am using and they all have the same effect. Not sure why the Tiny_MCE would have such an adverse effect.

Still hoping for any help ...

Hi,

but this sounds like a problem of tinyMCE - not of downloadgallery.

Anyway - give it a try - install Xinha and try it with this too. What happens? Still a problem?

I have some strange letters on top of every wysiwyg-page, when I use tiny - but it doesn´t effect anything. But I´m not using downloadgallery.

Hmm looks like some php files of tinymce are stored in UTF8. Depending on your PHP Version php cannot parse the BOM and shows it as "strange letters".
