Hi all!

I tried to google and read the postings in this forum, but I couldn´t find a hint that worked for me, so here we are:

I installed the latest version of FCKeditor (v2.87) and - later on - version 2.77 due of the following problems.

In Firefox, everything works fine. But using IE (from v5.5 to 7!), there is a blank page and neither the editor menu bar, nor the text field shows up. There are no error messages like javasrcipt errors or sth. like that.

So I tried out htmlarea, but it is almost the same problem: FF works fine, but IE shows only html code in the text field and the menu bar is invisible.

Any hints?

Best regards

Marian

Hi Matthias!

Thank you for your fast reply!

"active scripting" and "scripting for java applets" is activated. However, to avoid any security permissons, I also added the site to trusted sites and lowered the security level to sth. like "very low".

This unfortuneatly didn´t solve the problem.

Hello,

as ist works in FF it must be IE setting issue on your PC. Maybe you use another Software (Firewall, Antivirus, ...) wich blocks the FCKEditor. Also cleaning Browser cache and allow Cookies are good ideas.
