I am a novice user althought I tried several other CMS's. I installed everything properly first time and then again, following instructions from the help section and I still get:

Website Under Construction

Please check back soon...

Did I miss something and what should I do to start using WB?

Thanks for your help!

Hoi,

Did you create at least one page? And visible for everyone? Visibility = Public.
And is there an "intro page" with something in? Or disable the intro page in "settings".

When I click installation button, the browser window turns all white after few seconds and nothing happens. Then, when I load index page again it says Under construction. That's all I get. No admin panel, no nothing. I use USBWebserver 7.0 package on my home computer.

I am eager to try baker because I checked demo site and it seems to be just what fits my needs. I would appreciate very much if anyone can help me on this.

You need to create at least one page. Otherwise there is nothing showing. Reason 'Under Construction'. Read the comment by Luckyluke.

Hello,

to go to admin section you need to add /admin to the url of your page. Normally you should see this immediately after you hit install. You wrote you see a blank white page, so i think install didn't finish correct.

Please befor installing clear all browser chaches and cookies. And if you then in the backend create on page, then the message "under construction" dissappears.

Thanks for trying so far.

I replaced index page and new one is displayed now but I can't see admin page - wb/admin/index.php is blank and when i point my browser to wb/admin it redirects to wb/admin/start/index.php which I also get blank. Cookies deleted, tried in 3 browsers. Any help on this?

Hello,

Quote
replaced index page

index.php is a care file from WB and should not be replaced. Please only use the file from the WB package.
