I have moved a WB install from one server to another and now when I click on a page link on the front page I get this error:

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to
complete your request.

The pages have copied across but dont open when I click on them

Many thanks in advance

Have you moved your pages to a new dircetory on the new server?
Maybe like www.yourdomain.tld/new_directory/pages/page.php ?
So if that, you have to modify this in your db.

Please read the help pages

Hi erpe

Yes all items.. I have moved a WB install from one server to another, used the help pages (which were very good), and imported the database sucessfuly, the front page of the site appears but when I click on the menu links to go to a WB page I get an internal server error.  I have spoken with the hosting provider a company called AN hosting and they have asked me to see if I can re-create the error localy but I can't, when I do this locally it works fine..

any help or advice you can give would be appreciated

But have you modified the links in the database before you restored it, for you have another directory in there?
Perhaps it will help to post a link?

Hello,

again and again and again  cheesy

Moving pages with ftp changes ownership. Depending on your server config maybe scripts have now no permission access to files.

Also i hope you have changed in config.php the url. And last bur not least what erpe suggested befor importing the database all urls in database dumpfile should also be replaced with the new ones.

Hello,

check your database, especially the users table. Seems that there are missing some entries.

Matthias

P.S.
could it be that you try to import a WB 2.6.7 database in a WB 2.7 installation?
