Can't Login After Install

Hi, I set up a new site and as far as i could see everything went ok.  But when I try to login:

in Internet Explorer - the status bar very slowly moves accross but nothing happens

in Firefox - Redirect Loop message appears "Redirection limit for this URL exceeded.  Unable to load the requested page.  This may be caused by cookies that are blocked."

in Opera - Object Moved message appears "This document may be found here"

I've reinstalled three times now with no success

server, template, wb-version, etc

i'm using a digiweb.ie windows server using the default template on version 2.7

but tell me - is it the starter-package? I don´t know this kind of mini-pack at all, but a virtual windows server and 256 virtual ram?
I wouldn´t even try to send an email with this.

Why not ask them to switch Your account to linux-server?

I guess without an usable server You are lost.

unfortuanetly its a developer account, and there are a number of accounts on it, so transferring over to linux would be a nightmare of a job
