Hi all,

Altough it has not been a major site with a lot of options, it is something I created.

Please have a look at www.studio-lahaye.nl/sl
It is still in development, it needs some small things fixed (and have to create some pages) but let me know what you think of it so I can still make major changes without having the website published to the public.

All suggestions, tips and trics are welcome!

Thank you in advance!

Your work is excelent.
I browsed the photografs - very professional outdoor pics. My Compliment.

For the Website: I wonder why you don't use WB for the Galleries.  tongue

Hi Sander,

I really like your photos and I think you made a good job with your website to present them. I only was a little bit confused by the second contact-page, the galleries and even more by "Fotografie (basis) cursussen", but I think it's because the website is new and you will integrate it in your WB-site.

There also exist some problems validating css and html, but I don't know, if this important for you.

Apart from that - I really like it!

Best regards

thanks both!

As i mentioned earlier, the page is in development and some links did not work at first.

I think all is now fixed.

About the gallery not being one of WB's, do you have a good alternative for me?
I did install imagegallery but havn't got time to set it up.

A nice slideshow (compared to simpleviewer) would be welcome either!
I will try to intergrate everything into WB.

p.s. the images shown now are quite old.. still have to do some searching among litterly 10.000,00 of pics on my com... so the images wil be fresh after that!

Actually I am interested in errors in the CSS, all suggestions are more then welcome.

thank you again!

Hi,

I like the smooth gallery, which you can see in action here http://www.hotel-willingen.biz/pages/hotel-und-zimmer.php. And the download could be found here http://addons.websitebaker.org/pages/modules/image-galleries.php.

I think WB has no gallery where you can give a line of info about the picture. Sometimes it would be nice if there is a little bit extra info about the picture.
You can add a little info in the Smooth Gallery, but it has a lot of limits!

Luc

Hi Luc,

one solution could be, to insert the text with photoshop, gimp or whatever you are using.

Nope, no option. But I'm testing ZenPhoto now. And try to put this in the Argos1 Template. But a wrapper is not good because you got to give a height. No one can predict a height from the start...

Because of pic-infos, rating, comments?

Just for the pic info and comments. The rating is beautifull but not a must.

I find that if i'm able to create multible albums (like now) i'm quite sattisfied.

User rating and text below a photo is certenly not a demand on my side.
I can use photoshop to add tekst to the photograph as mentioned.

I will look into the gallery real soon, now i'm running low on time.

maybe we can intergrate Coppermine??

Well i'm now trying SmoothGallery.

besides from the fact that the arrows to go back or forward are not easy spotted I like the idea.

next problem I have is how to create a dropdown menu to the right on the text "Gallerij"
My guess is that it is allready discribed in the forum, just have to search now..

Well I have created several SmoothGallery pages but I don't like the idea that is currently on the website..

A nice and tight menu is now overfilled... check www.studio-lahaye.nl/sl

any other suggestions for gallery's with multiple albums??

Hey, is that your V-Strom? Looks like the 650cc. I have a 1000cc and loving it Smiley

I've got a SmugMug account as a subdomain to my site. I link to it from my WB site. The SmugMug facilities are brilliant.

I am also running SimpleViewer in a frame like you, for some quick portfolio examples.

Ciao...
