SOLVED - Cant delete page or its sections in backend

Hi, did a serch in the forum but couldn´t find any solution posted.

The problem is that i can not delete a page in the backend on one of my wb sites. its a level  4 subpage that contains a news swection..deleting the page och the section is impossible. tried 2 different superuserlogin. moving or renaming the page works fine.

any clues how to attack the problem? maybe a small guide how to delete a page from phpmyadmin would be great.

looks for a fileownership problem. Check the ownership and permissions and adjust them.

Ownership on the webserver is ok.
I can delete a page in the backend but as soon I use a news section on the page i can not delete it ot use the news section. any other type of section is ok to delete.

Table 'd27369.wb_mod_news_ settings' doesn't exist

Maybe the newspart in the database is gone?

SOLVED!! The newsparts in the database was gone somehow..so i imported them again from a different database with clean install of wb. Now i could delete the pages.

so the next question should be, why the table was deleted. Did you uninstall the news Modul or maybe one of the extended versions from the forum?

Well we use WB 2.7, and as we are many i think someone (most likely me) accidentally uninstalled the module as we use "members", it must have failed somehow. We have been developing a site during a very long time so none remembers.
