Hello,
Can anyone explain this please. After upgrading to 2.7, I cannot edit pages. The message is:

Warning: main(fckeditor_php4.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /mypath/web/wba/modules/fckeditor/fckeditor/fckeditor.php on line 29

Warning: main(): Failed opening 'fckeditor_php4.php' for inclusion (include_path='') in /mypath/web/wba/modules/fckeditor/fckeditor/fckeditor.php on line 29

Fatal error: Cannot instantiate non-existent class: fckeditor in /mypath/web/wba/modules/fckeditor/include.php on line 68

The files referred to are present, but the editor will not start.

Any help appreciated as the site is currently off-line following this error.

Andy sad

Incidentally, have added the TinyMCE editor as a workaround, and that works

Hello Klaus,

I had thought of permissions, and checked them. I have now set the entire FCKEditor folder to 777. The editor will not start still, although there are now no errors messages, just a blank page with no editor instance.

Thanks for the thought.

Try to set the owner instead of Permission please.

Hello,

as you upgraded did you especially follow the steps you have to look for when fckeditor is in use?

If yes, search the forum for "blank page". You will find a few entries, as far as i remember it could be a php version issue.

If not, please uninstall FCKEditor, and delete with ftp the modules/fckeditor folder. After this install the latest version from our addons page. (you have two ways to do this: Unzip the package, upload it with ftp and activate it with reload addons, or install the package like a normal modul).
