[Solved] Problem with Gocart module

I have just had a major problem with my site due to a loss of hosting with a consequent loss of all files. Fortunately I was able to resurrect the database with all the information intact. I just had to reinstall WB and all modules including Gocart.

The original installation was, I think, WB 2.6.0. I have now installed 2.6.5 (tried 2.7 but this did not work with the old database) and i installed Gocart 1.6.2. This is working more or less but i am getting error messages on the page display:

Notice: Constant THUMB_APPEND already defined in E:\domains\d\deveron-arts.com\user\htdocs\wb\modules\gocart\view.php on line 6

Notice: Constant NEW_ROW already defined in E:\domains\d\deveron-arts.com\user\htdocs\wb\modules\gocart\view.php on line 7

Also in the item description it is showing some fields instead of currency and shipping info (ie [CURRENCY] AND [SHIPPING]).

I guess its a question of which version I am using, I can't now recall which one I used originally. Perhaps I need to upgrade? Any advice welcomed.

I have managed to uninstall Gocart 1.6.2 and install 1.6.4RC1and reinstated the database and page. This has corrected the display problem with currency and shipping costs.

However, the other error messages relating to the constants already defined remains.

Any assistance welcome

Go-Cart has not been activly developed for some time ... check out the bakery shop module.

I have now added the Bakery module and will be adding a page based on this. Thanks.

Perhaps the Gocart module should be removed from the list of modules on the Addons page of the website if it is no longer in active development? Maybe there should be a category of outdated modules?

I tried the Bakery module with some success but it didn't solve the original problem. The problem is due to trying to have a number of instances of the Gocart (or Bakery) module on the same page. This results in repeated definitions of the same constants.

I solved it by adding a code section before the Gocart sections and copying the lines defining the constants from the view.php file into it. I then deleted those lines from view.php. The constants are therefore only defined once and the problem disappears. Probably not the most elegant solution but it works.
