Hi I hope someone can help with this 'course I've spend hours looking at related topics and I've come up with ZIP!!!
My news reader is installed and works great, but I need my feed links to open up in the SAME WINDOW and not in a Pop-up window.
I've looked at the functions.php and also in the newsparser.php and I can't figure out where I switch of the pop up window so the link opens in the SAME WINDOW...
PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE AAAAAAAAAAAASE advice!

Look again in the newsparser.php for " target="_blank" (somewhere around line 416).
Just remove those words, and you're done.

I am posting here because I can't seem to find anyone to answer my own post.  I thought If I tracked down people who actually use the News Reader Module, they might be so kind as to try to help me out...

I have installed the Newsreader Module and all works well, as long as I only have one feed on the page.  But when I add another section of type "Newsreader", or many additional sections of type newsreader, as I want on my page, the page does not load.  It will load up to the end of the first feed and then it stalls, so not even the page background loads.  If I refresh the page, the first and second feed appear and then it stalls, and so on.

If I reload until all feeds complete, then the page background and everything else finally appear... until the "Update-Cycle" time comes and then you have to start all over again???

Is the Newsreader made to only include one feed on a page?  Is there a way to include multiple feeds on a page?

I ended up installing the Aggregator Module and putting each feed on it's own Child Page to see if this works.
I have several child "newsreader" pages under my "FEEDS" page.
But I have the same problem with that approach as well.

Any thoughts on why this is happening?  I would be happy to PM the website pages I am testing on.

Thank you in advance for any help you can offer
