Okay, try this and let me know if it works. rolleyes

* New: Restrict years to show in past (default: 1) and future (default: 2)
* New: Formatted "Breadcrumb" more nicely, added quarter and week to breadcrumb
* Fix: Don't show time (always shown as "00-00-00") in day sheet header

Known issues:

* Incomplete NL translation
* Incomplete DA translation

hello to all
i've some problems and questions about, i'm not a skilled programmer ...:
1)- on my booking test page i see only 1 column (no 3 columns)
2)- it's possible to hide past event time (no interest to see last events: i try to create a site for b&b): only from today and forward date are important, no one reserves in the past
3)-  it's possible in "quarter view" navigate to next quarter (i don't see this on page)

i hope i explain my problems in right way (sorry for my english)

thank's all for help me.

Hum? huh

Edit: Maybe you mean this -> http://www.websitebaker2.org/forum/index.php/topic,10218.msg71114.html#msg71114

No. You can only show past days as grey.

Edit: Have you tried "Show bookings prior today" option?

3)-  it's possible in "quarter view" navigate to next quarter (i don't see this on page)

Not yet. I will add it to the next version.

hello
thanks, i solved the first problem (float, etc in css)

i try "Show bookings prior today" but i see the same. can you think about the idea to not show date before current month? i think that customers want to reserve in the future, not in the past.
thanks again

Well, I don't think that it's a problem for a visitor to see dates that are in the past. I think the visitor knows that these are not important anymore. grin

Anyway, in my test environment, past bookings are not shown when the option is set. Maybe we do not talk about the same thing. grin Past months are still shown in year view, but bookings that are in the past aren't. (Checked it out a moment ago.)

For those testing Bookings with WB 2.8 I should say that there are no backend icons shown at the moment. (RC1) This happens because with backend template support, WB backend icons were moved into another location. I am discussing this as a backward compatibility issue at the moment in the German support forum. If there will be no solution in the Core, I will release a fixed version 2.17 later.

Hello,

as described in the upgrade howto (http://start.websitebaker2.org/en/wb-2.8.php) for all those who upgrade from 2.7 only the admin/images folder must stay (Preperations Step4). This way the old icons are used.

For all who make a new clean wb 2.8 install a dirty workaround could be to copy the admin/images folder from wb 2.7 to wb 2.8.

But best is to adapt Modules with one additional line of code to support WB 2.7 and WB 2.8.

I get an "Invalid Parameter"error message - each time I try to insert a booking.

I am using version WB 2.7

Any clues to fixing or checking for obvious howlers greatly, appreciated.

All form params are validated. For example, the section ID must be numeric. Same for dates.

So, please check your input.

Edit: Ah! I see. It's a bug. You'll have to add a group first. I will fix this issue.

Wooops, there is an error in that file...

Code:
/* this is for WB 2.8! */
if ( ! defined( THEME_URL ) ) {
    definde( 'THEME_URL', ADMIN_URL );
}

Please remove that code at the top of the file before testing.

OK v 2.17 with the amended functions.php file can make a booking without needing to create a group.

Now to play with the CSS

in quarter-view there is a missing

Code:
</div><!-- end div bookings_yearnav -->

This will destroy the layout of some css driven pages..

I'll check this issue.

Edit: Proven to be a bug. For quick fix, edit file functions.php and add the following line:

Code:
    echo "</div>";

AFTER

Code:
for ( $m = $begin; $m < $end; $m++ ) {
        if ( $m % $set['breakafter'] == 1 ) {
            echo "<br class=\"bookings_clear\" />\n";
        }
        echo Bookings_Month_Sheet( $year, $m, $section_id, false );
    }

(Line 567)

I'll post a fixed version tomorrow.

I'm using Baker V2.8 and Booking module 2.18

Show = as sheet
linebreak = 4

Problems:
1. Firefox looks ok but not on IE (7)... show's like a list...
ex http://www.websitebaker.net/pages/labor/bookings.php
2. Missing icon pages.png ( i think i won't need it... word "modify" I think is enough how can I get rid of it without showing the red X)
3.  I am also using the droplet... the back/next arrow does not bring it to the next month nor the month link.
ex. http://www.websitebaker.net/pages/labor/bookings/bookings-droplet.php

please help Sad

1. Firefox looks ok but not on IE (7)... show's like a list...

This issue was addressed in this thread many times. See page 13 for an example.

2. Missing icon pages.png ( i think i won't need it... word "modify" I think is enough how can I get rid of it without showing the red X)

It's because WB 2.8 has skins now, so the images are not where they used to be. I'll fix this. As a workaround, just put the pages.png where it's expected to be.

3.  I am also using the droplet... the back/next arrow does not bring it to the next month nor the month link.

I'll take a look at this.

Edit: Confirmed. But I don't see a solution in the current page content. So, I am going to remove the back/next links for use with the droplet.

So, here's v2.19. -> http://www.websitebakers.com/pages/modules/calendar-and-time/bookings.php?lang=EN

* Added pages.png to Bookings (don't use external icon)
* Added an option to Bookings_Month_Shee t() to suppress prev/next links

You will have to edit the droplet code, too.

Find:
Code:
$return[] = Bookings_Month_Sheet( $_year, $_month, $section, true );

Replace with:

Code:
$return[] = Bookings_Month_Sheet( $_year, $_month, $section, true, true );

thanks webbird for the fast response Smiley
I'll check the IE 7 problem later Smiley

About the droplet...
The back and forward arrow's gone... kewl if this is the only way... but what about the month and the weeks link?
is there a way to do something like wb_url/pages/(page id)?year= ?

The page where the droplet is included doesn't "know" anything about the Bookings module, so it's a bit more complicated. The only way I see is to link to the actual page. But this is a more complex change to Bookings I don't have enough time for at the moment. I will work on it as soon as I can. (But ASAP may mean next year.)

I have loaded this module to a site I am working on at the moment and it looks pretty good except I had a bit of a problem with the display in IE6. Firefox was good. I am using WB 2.7 and bookings 2.18.

I have sorted the problem by changing the frontend css but I would just like to ask if this might cause other problems. In #mod_bookings .bookings_sheet the attribute float:left; was commented out and in #mod_bookings .bookings_clear the attribute clear:left; was commented out. I removed the commenting in both and the display in IE6 was sorted. I would just like to know why these attributes were commented out in case it affects anything else?

cheers,
Mike

It depends on the "global CSS" you use. In most cases, the "default" works well, but if your CSS works with it's own floats etc, it may clash. So, sometimes you'll have to do these changes, sometimes you don't. grin

Anyway, feel free to edit the frontend.css according to your needs. It's just a suggestion, not "engraved in stone".  wink
