I'm going to release the new version 2.0 tomorrow, so this is the last chance to report bugs or feature requests. grin

Hi Webbird,
sorry, I didn´t have chance to test the module hard until now.

But feature request: Maybe I missed something during my quick overview. What about a weekly few? A small block like the monthly view but displaying the actual week, Mo - So including week-nr, listing the hours in the style of the daily view?
Something like the enclosed pic? Start-/ end-time, day off, actual month, actual date, booked time?

Klick on any field brings You up the daily-view with details? Nr of day´s to show - 5 or 7?

regards from Himberg

Thank you for your suggestion. No, there is no week view at the moment. I will add this to a version > 2.0. wink

Hi WebBird,

I will see if I could spend some time with it, than I will report. But maybe I send a PM in german, is this ok?

I have annother feature-request:

How about an overview, like the enclosed screenshot?
Overview about all available rooms as Block, optional showing the name, klick on Raum1 brings up the daily View?

Yes, of course. smiley

Well, the problem I see with this is that you will have to add a bookings block for each room. So, how should the module "know" which blocks belong together? (You may have blocks for beamers as well that have nothing to do with the room bookings.)

I think it would be nice to have something like a "bookings addon module" grin for this special case. It's purpose would be to configure which related blocks belong together and to show that overview you suggested. Nothing else. What do you think?

Jo,
just something like anynews.

Maybe adding one datafield groups in the options? So if a section is created You decide in which group this should be listed.
Also it would be necassary to add one option more: the red one, closed or out of order or on service or whatever....
Furthermore an option field: show status in frontend yes/no

I think this could be added and would be a real enrichment to the functions.

I guess You get it baked.

"vyni" reported that month names are shown in English sometimes while all other strings are shown in German. This happens under Win32 because WB sets 2-letter-locales, while Win32 requires 3-letter-locales. ("deu" instead of "de".) If I don't find an easy solution, I will (re-)implement the month names as language strings. angry

Edit: This will be fixed with the next version. Please do _not_ use V2.0 for production use at the moment! There are some bugs reported I am fixing at the moment.

Edit: Here's a new beta version. Please check it out!

New features in v2.0:

I am still working at this version, feel free to download the current BETA and report your errors/suggestions here. grin

Edit: Removed download. See page 8 for an updated version.

Hi,

thanks for this great module. I've just installed v 1.19 on my WB 2.7 testing system and everything works fine!
A frontend.css edit button would be fine, is this part of v 2.0?

Great work!

Thank you. grin

It is not planned to add an edit button for the CSS, but you can use the ModuleEdit Admin Tool to do this.

Hi Webbird,

thanks for this great modul!!!

But i´ve got one question: in the created site (http://www.cvjm-waldheim.de/cms/wb/pages/test-buchungen.php) the month-names are dispayed in english, not in german (german-language is set in WB). Can you tell me how I can change these month-names ...

Edit: Sorry I just read that you will fix this Problem with v2.0 ... Thanks!

Thanks ...

That would be great!

Then I could use the "dark time of the Year" to include this in our Website ...

Thanks and regards

Hi WebBird!

I tested this Version 1.20 with my php4 & MySQLv4 server - and it works fine.

There are just 2 things:

First I miss the ability to change an entry from the frontend - did You remove it? Or is it only in 2.x?
And than, in daily-List view, there is a heading like this: Mon Nov 10 00:00:00 2008

I will have a closer look in the evening.

This is in 2.x only.

You may set the date format under [Options].

There is a new Beta available for v2.x.

Changes:

* Fixed month names
* Allows to define groups for bookings (new table mod_bookings_groups)
* Allows to toggle renter name visibility by clicking on the lense symbol

Known issues:

* NL translation incomplete

The group overview as requested by "vyni" is not yet implemented! (Comes with Beta 7.)

As always, check this out and tell me what you're thinking. Wink

Uhm, yes, why not. Wink

Try to add this to your template (index.php):

Code:
<?php

include_once(WB_PATH.'/modules/bookings/functions.php');

$year  date("Y");

$month date("m");
    global
$page_id;

$page_id = <PAGEID>;
    echo
Bookings_Month_Sheet$year$month, <SECTIONID>, true );
?>

You will have to replace <PAGEID> and <SECTIONID> with the numbers of the page and section where the Bookings module is included. (From which the bookings shall be shown.)

Edit: To have the CSS take effect, wrap the sheet into a div.

Code:
<?php

include_once(WB_PATH.'/modules/bookings/functions.php');

$year  date("Y");

$month date("m");
    global
$page_id;

$page_id 3;
    echo
"<div id=\"mod_bookings\">\n",

Bookings_Month_Sheet$year$month9true ),

"</div>\n";
?>

PS: can i just overwrite all the files to update the module?

I would not suggest to do so, as there are database changes sometimes. (As from v2.0b5 to v2.0b6.)

thanks for that webbird.. close but no cigar though Sad it doesnt take into account the added event http://markley.co.uk/asprufc if you see what i mean..

i'm going to attempt to remove and reinstall the new version Cheesy this should be fun after all the tweaking

PS: the v2b7 doesnt display added bookings

Are you sure that you used the right IDs for page and section? This works fine with 2.0b7 here.
