No pictures or folders show up in media?

hi...
i have a page, that has been running for about a year now, and has work fine?
but suddenly i can´t see the pictures or folders in media anymore....

all the possibilities are there (upload files and create folders), but i just can´t see the actual pictures and folders, if i press upload pictures, i can see at the bottom at the browser that it uploads, and it says ok, at last..... but i can´t see the pic. anyway???

any ideas??

i looked in the ftp (admin/media) the chmod are 644?

Hi babsy,

I recognized this when the permissions of the user-group was set in a "wrong way" - are you logged in as admin?
When You create a group with minimum rights and maybe own home-folders - this will happen.

hi .... i am logged in as admin, yes...
i just looked at the user, and he is set at Homefolder: none??

does it help to make new users!.. and what homefolder should i use then?

Sorry - I don´t know to much about all this things. Just an idea because I had the same appearance than You.

Did You maybe install in a subdomain?

Annother thing - try to reinstall the fck-module - got the v2.85?

i deleted all groups.. and installed fck editor.. again.. but it still doesn´t show... (media)

Just annother idea

 - did you try to connect from a different Computer? a different browser? - Maybe it´s a local Problem.
Create a new user - set permissions to create a page, - ask someone (outside your location) to try.

hi again yes i tried... i'm at home now, and i tried the office too 
i attached a screen shot of how it looks here. when i enter media?
as you can see, if i f.ex press target folder i can see that they are all there... but still the space is just white?

If this worked for a longer periode already, please check if the hoster has changed anythin. Are the files still on the server (please check with FTP)? Check for ownership of those files.

  You could try to replace the folder admin/media from a clean installation directory to make sure there are all files unchanged.
Otherwise it might be a server-permission problem.
To figure out if it is a server-permission problem You could try the following steps:
use ftp to create a folder in your domain, ex. sandbox
transfer WB there for installation
install a fresh version of WB in domain/sandbox
NOT FOTGET TO SET THE TABLE-PREFIX to something else, ex. SAND_
otherwise You loose Your data
than go to sandbox and try  - if this happens again You definitly have a server-prob
