check pages folder with ftp to see if a file exists, pretty sure it does. Delete it manually.

P.S.: Please do not use thousands of smileys it may stop other users from answering

Hi again

Sorry about the smileys...

I can't see any pages (in /pages) with the same name I try to make!? I've tried several other pagesnames - but always with the same erroranswer "A page with the same or similar title exists"!?
Is there mayby a serious bug with the 2.7 version?

Please help...

Hello,

are you using WB 2.7 final or a release candidate. Have you upgradet or is it a fresh WB 2.7 installation?
Check the /pages folder for both, the page title and menu title you try to create. Is /pages your page folder or have you renamed it. Can you create another page, what it the page title you want to use intro or index? Both names are used by WB and are not allowed.

For the future. Please provide as much information you can to help solving the problems you have. Please read the guidelines for posting here (the use of smiley etc. are explained).

Hi Christian

Yes I am using the 2.7 final (i think?). I've got it from http://start.websitebaker2.org/media/downloads/websitebaker-2.7.0.zip.

Yes I have upgraded from 2.6.7 - but it has worked fine for weeks...?
Yes the /pages is my pagesfolder. (Where do I check that)
I do not call the new page intro or index.
I can not create another page - (thats my problem)!
- and I have exactly the same problem on to other website (domaines) (on the same server)...

I hope I am specific enought now?

Hello,

one interesting piece of information is that it worked for weeks and suddenly stopped working. Unfortunatelly you do not tell us if it worked for weeks before upgrading and suddenly stopped after the upgrade to 2.7 or if it worked for WB 2.7 some weeks and then stopped working.

So the answer with respect to your last question is no, not specific enough. As we know that it is not easy for new users to aks the right questions, we issued guidelines for on the help site and in the forum rules.

Regards Christian

P.S.: Have you contacted your server hosting company and asked if they have changed server settings recently?

Dear Christian

Yes I have talked to my hosting company - they don't figure the problem? My own first suggestion was a databaseproblem - but the hosting company can't find errors?
The problem is new I think - as I wrote the 2.7 has worked fine for several weeks after the upgrade from 2.6.7, but suddenly to day I discovered that I no longer could make new pages... - and I have tried a lot of different pagesnames (as told before)?

It is really strange I think?

Hello,

well the most important question is what were the last actions you performed before creating new pages stopped working? Any changes on the template, on group permissions, new module, config.php, moving files via FTP ?

Do not believe this is a generic WB issue, something has/was changed. If both sites you are talking off are hosted by the same company and you have not changed anything, most likely your hosting company have.

So not sure how to help. Good luck

Regards Christian
