No major software project (independent if Open Source or commercial) is fully free of bugs. Only if the bugs are tracked and reported to the developers, can a solution be worked out.
Thanks to the active developers and the WebsiteBaker-community, a bugfix is available from our Versioning System about one or two days after it is reported. Minor bugfixes will be integrated with the next official release of WebsiteBaker. Bugfixes are tracked and reported via the external program Redmine.
Critical bugs with potential to compromise a WebsiteBaker installation are announced in the WebsiteBaker forum Board: Security Announcements.
Please do not report Security Issues via the trac bugreport or discuss them open in the forum with Sourcecode snippets! Instead use our security forms.
Bugfixes for critical bugs are distributed with an announcement via the forum, Redmine, or as a new WebsiteBaker release. Critical bugs are treated very serious by the developers.
There are two ways of reporting bugs to the developers and the WebsiteBaker-Community:
- Via the bugtracker system Redmine from the WebsiteBaker project side
- Via posting an announcement in a new topic in the WebsiteBaker forum
Before reporting a new bug make sure the error was not already reported by someone else - use the search function, the "Timeline" or "View Tickets" feature.
Note: Please use a valid forum username or your email adress! We get spam tickets so "anonymous" ticket we have to remove unfortunately.
Please only use English language in the bug tracker! Bug reports in other languages than English won't be fixed!
